The Library Tools Window

|
|
Here you can create and manage your libraries.
You can build your libraries by ether dragging and dropping files from an explorer window into the 'Library Window' or by scanning a directory tree for clips. To scan a directory tree press the '(Re)Scan Directory' button. Then use the pop-up browser to select the folder.
Having the 'Include sub-directories' option enabled will make VJamm Blueprint also scan and include any clips found in sub-directories of the selected folder.
Any clips found and already in the current library will be ignored.
Note: Whenever a clip is added to the library or updated, the frame used for its thumbnail is based on the 'Thumbnails Options' setting.
The 'Empty Library' button removes all the video clips and snapshots from the current library.
Pressing the 'Search for lost clips' button displays a pop-up browser to select a folder to search. VJamm Blueprint will then search this folder for files which match the names of missing clips in the current library and re-asscoiate them.
For any libary item currently selected, you can:
- Remove selected SnapShot
- Remove selected Clip
If you remove a Object / Animation, array option or a freeframe plug-in which was required by a snapshot.
the snapshot in the library will show an 'Snap error' image. By selecting that item in the library, details of the error will be display in the 'Selected Snapshot Problems' panel.

In this panel is a list of previously saved libraries.
Note: Loading, Saving and Clearing Libraries can be performed 'Live' - that is, any clips currently in the vision mixer will continue to play and be avaiable.
However, clips which are playing but are no longer referenced by the current library cannot have snapshots taken.
The Load,Save and Delete library buttons are self-explantory.
