The Parameters Window
|
|
|
|
|
This window gives you access to a clip's parameters. You can play with and preview them in realtime.
The window is colour coded to the relative channel and displays the channel number in the top panel.
At the top of the window you have 'prev' and 'next' controls for selecting the channel.
You can also select which channel parameters to display by clicking on the channel preview area in the vision mixer.
To the right of them you have the preview area. There is a moving checker board in the background of this preview area to allow you to see the result of transparancy effects (luma/chroma keying), and to help with the positioning.
Then we have a 'snapshot' button which will store all the current parameter settings, with a thumbnail, into the library.
Below these you have buttons for selecting the different parameter panels.
Most of the parameter panels hide or show extra controls depending on their relevance.
Usage
- Most controls are labelled using buttons: clicking the buttons will normally reset the associated control back to its default setting.
- The pitch-bender and rotary controls rely on holding down the Left Mouse Button and moving left or right.
- Each pitch-bender control adjusts the value of its parameter at a speed based on how much you 'bend' the control. Releasing the control stops changing the value, and the control springs back to the center position.
- Some parmeters can also be 'linked' together, so adjusting one will adjust the group.
Note: If a parameter is changed via MIDI or the 'Hands Free' controls, you will see the control being updated in realtime.
